General Job Description
Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. (Entech) is seeking transportation engineers for positions ranging from entry level to licensed engineers to join our planning and schematics team in Houston, Texas. To be considered for these positions, applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience in schematic design is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of roadway schematics for transportation projects.
- Prepare drawings and exhibits to support public involvement and attend public meetings
- Develop engineering reports, quantities, and construction cost estimates
These duties will be performed under the supervision of a senior project engineer or project manager.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification or professional engineering license is preferred
- General knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads software
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
